Directions to the Presentation Site

The “Teens Using Drugs:  What To Know and What To Do” programs are presented at the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Education Center, located at 5305 Elliott Drive in Ypsilanti, Michigan.  Programs will be presented in the “Exhibition Room” located next to the auditorium on the ground floor. There will be signs placed at key points in the building directing you to the location.

Directions to the Education Center Building and Classrooms

It is best to enter through the building located at 5305 Elliott Drive.  We will place signs in the building directing you from this entrance to the location of the program.

The hospital campus is circled by Elliott Drive (south side) and McAuley Drive (north side.) All streets leading to the hospital campus connect with either Elliott Drive or McAuley Drive. If you enter the campus onto McAuley Drive, follow it around to Elliott Drive. Follow Elliott Drive to the Education Center building at 5305 Elliott Drive (THIS IS THE SAME BUILDING AS THE “ADMINISTRATION” BUILDING – it is situated between the Emergency Room and the Family Birthing Center/Imaging Center.) There are signs in front of each parking area that identify what building(s) can be accessed from the parking area. We suggest parking in parking area "P" and entering the Education Center through the front entrance of the 5305 Elliott Drive building.

To find the Exhibition Room: Enter the Education Center through the front door at 5305 Elliott Drive. Walk towards the elevators on the left side of the lobby; continue past the elevators, through one set of double doors and proceed straight down the hallway ahead. The Exhibition Room is located at the junction of the first hallway on the left; the door into the Exhibition Room is to the immediate right of the double doors that lead to the auditorium.

Maps to the Education Center

There are several ways to get to the Education Center from major highways and surrounding areas.

The St. Joseph Mercy Hospital web site provides a map with an overview of routes to the Education Center. It also provides a link to MapQuest, where you can access driving directions from your area. PLEASE NOTE: the maps lead you to the St. Joseph Mercy Hospital campus, at 5301 McAuley Drive. It is best to enter through the EDUCATION CENTER building located at 5305 Elliott Drive. Elliott Drive is connected at both ends in a half-circle with McAuley Drive. We suggest parking in parking area "P" and entering the Education Center through the front entrance of the 5305 Elliott Drive building. (All buildings on the hospital campus inter-connect, but it may require a long walk and be difficult to find the Education Center from the other buildings.)
